Do a Google search on "angels" and you will find that there are over 251
million possibilities. From earliest childhood, most are taught a poem or a
prayer concerning angels watching over them as they sleep. "Angel of love,
my guardian dear" is the starting line of but one of them.

"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your
ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your
foot against a stone."
Psalm 25:4-5

We grow up with a fascination for the beings of Scripture who have been
variously portrayed as chubby, dimpled cherubs, or as fierce, winged
warriors. Artists from ancient of times have given their interpretations.
Since angels are created spirits, they don't have to be visible at all. When
they do appear, they generally appear in the form of men. To Abraham, they
were nothing more than some travelers. Sometimes they have wings, but not
always. One thing is for sure ... angels were created to carry out a variety
of tasks, but all were designed to serve God.
